The committee is responsible for increasing the participation of women in the Society, promoting the education of women in the scientific and engineering fields, encouraging women to enter the nuclear industry as a profession, supporting women in the nuclear industry in achieving their career objectives, serving as ANS liaison to women's committees in other technical societies, assisingt the Society in communicating its public information program and advising the Executive Committee on women's issues.

PWANS History
Professional Women in ANS was formed as a committee to meet the concerns of women in the nuclear entreprise. We foster communication and participation of both men and women towards a greater involvement of women in contributing to the industry. Help us in our goal, become active in the committee.
